Nova wins at the Kent Wedding Awards again for the second year in a row.
A Tunbridge Wells wedding planner has much to celebrate after scooping the coveted title of Wedding Planner of the Year 2014 for the second year in a row at the Kent Wedding Awards in Maidstone last Thursday night (13 Novembe 2014).
Nova Wedding Planning, based in Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells earned the title of Best Wedding Planner in Kent after beating off tough competition in this category from Chiddingstone Castle.
The prestigious awards ceremony, which was hosted by ex-Eastenders star Shaun Williamson, was attended by more than 300 of Kent’s wedding glitterati at the Mercure hotel in Maidstone.
Managing Director of Nova Wedding Planning, Pippa Taylor (32) commented on the win: “I am absolutely delighted to accept this award for Nova, which is a testament to the hard work put in this year by myself and the team. We always try to go the extra mile for our brides to give them the perfect day and it is tremendous that this has seen recognition on a countywide level.”
She adds: “Last year was tough for the wedding industry, with the dreaded ‘2013 effect’ as couples postponed their weddings to avoid the superstition of bad luck. However, with the economy back on track now and more couples than ever marrying in 2014, we are seeing a bumper year, which is a huge boon to small businesses like our own who are trying to grow.”
